Scope of project
The team has been busy completing the LED light fitting upgrade of 93 lights at Goods way Kings Cross. Entering Network rail’s demise and working with CBRE we’ve had to plan and work to the highest health and safety standards to deliver this project.
Challenges
Due to having to work near bustling transport hubs, the team had to deal with foot traffic whilst conducting their work. Another caveat of this locale was having to comply with Network Rail legislation whilst on the job which entailed strict health and safety measurements.
As our work was in a loading bay area we worked around the ingress and egress of large vehicles in the loading bay whilst keeping the loading bay functional for commercial use.
On top of restricted access our equipment needed to be safely useable on a sloped surface as the loading bay was a ramp, we worked around this by using state-of-the-art self-levelling cherry pickers to ensure compliance with health and safety standards & Network Rail industry standards.
