Due to our flexibility, Redlands are able to offer small works, planned maintenance and compliance services and are able to work with our clients on all types of instructions, this will include general improvement projects such as upgrades in lighting (main and emergency), small power, air conditioning, heating, fire prevention systems and plumbing alterations. This has also seen Redlands involved in the completion of building fabric projects and this is an effective way of delivering a project through a single sourced approved contractor.
Building Fabric
We understand that when you are undertaking an M&E based project that it is not always viable to instruct a building company to complete the fabric tasks and would be more effective to deliver the project through a single sourced approved contractor. At Redlands we have been instructed on M&E projects that also include fabric work that generally involves ceiling grids, flooring, office partitioning and decoration. We have also undertaken a number of kitchen, toilet and wet room refurbishments as you can only get a limited number of trades in these small spaces, so from a coordination point of view it is better giving this work to a single sourced contractor.
