Scope of project
The scope of works included the upgrading of category 5 cables for data, feeding back to the communications rack and the installation of small power and LED lighting for the courtyard building.
Challenges
The installation of the cables presented a challenge as they needed to be hidden behind the wooden cladding as much as possible, with surface mounting minimised. We removed the concrete slabs and run the electrical intake cables under the ground and into the courtyard building, then re-instated the slabs once the installation was completed.
