Scope of the Project

Redlands have been working alongside the restaurant group José Pizarro Restaurants to support the refurbishment and fitting of a new commercial kitchen within their Bermondsey branch on Bermondsey Street.

Due to the demands of a busy commercial kitchen environment, the project began with a major upgrade to the incoming electrical supply, increasing capacity from 100 Amps to 200 Amps. A new three phase distribution board was also installed to allow electrical loads to be distributed efficiently across all kitchen appliances and equipment.

As part of the wider sustainability improvements, Redlands also installed new EV charging points externally to support the Workplace Charging Scheme, alongside the replacement of existing lighting with energy efficient LED fittings throughout the restaurant.

In addition to the installation works, we continue to provide ongoing reactive maintenance, EICR electrical testing and full MEP compliance services across all five José Pizarro restaurant locations.
