We’re thrilled to showcase our recent project with Kingston Grammar School, where we transformed their lighting system over two summers to improve efficiency, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance sustainability.

Project Overview: Redlands Electrical upgraded and installed new Casambi-enabled external lighting, along with over 300 standalone emergency fittings. This advanced system now allows the school to control all lighting through a central database, eliminating the need for time-consuming monthly and annual testing, while significantly reducing maintenance costs and operational downtime.

Sustainable Solutions: In line with our commitment to sustainability, we upgraded the internals of existing architectural light fittings to state-of-the-art LED technology. By retrofitting rather than replacing these fixtures, we’ve minimised waste, preventing large amounts of metal and plastic from ending up in landfill. This approach provided Kingston Grammar School with modern, energy-efficient lighting while preserving their original architectural aesthetic.
