Scope of the Project

The scope of works included ongoing electrical upgrades within the sports hall, alongside the delivery of mandatory compliance services to ensure the facility remained fully operational and compliant with current standards.

As part of the project, an upgrade to the incoming electrical supply was required to support the installation of new energy efficient LED lighting throughout the sports hall.

Building Fabric Works

In addition to the electrical improvements, Redlands were also instructed to replace damaged and worn ceiling tiles throughout the sports hall to improve the overall appearance and condition of the facility.

Challenges

Due to the nature of the works, our operatives were required to work at height using scissor lifts within the sports hall environment.

The project programme also had to be carefully coordinated around school half term periods and existing sports hall hire bookings. Working closely with the sports hall management team, we developed a phased programme of works designed to maximise the availability and rental use of the facility while ensuring the upgrades could be completed safely and efficiently.
